Mgm Grand Celebrity Spa Suite
Anybody that’s been to the movies is probably fairly familiar with the lion logo. Since 1924, this logo has graced the motion picture industry with its memorable presence. In December of 1993, the logo made its debut on Las Vegas Boulevard with the grand opening of the MGM Grand. To date, this 30-floor resort remains to be one of Sin City’s most predominant hotels, a fact that 6,800 luxury rooms and five-star amenities keeps true.

The main entrance to the MGM Grand spills out into an entrance that can only be described as, well, grand. Surrounding the slew of potential guests is a room that, while plain with décor, echoes enough class to attract even the most opulent individuals. The somewhat lengthy stroll through the casino floor and hotel halls that one must go through to get to their room only further provides example of the establishment’s extravagance.
In terms of accommodations, the MGM is on top. Outside of having a large array of rooms to choose from, the MGM Grand ensures that each room is just as nice, if not nicer, then the previous. On the more basic end of rooms are the West Wing King and Tower Deluxe King / Queen rooms. Being the basics, these rooms set the high standard for the rest of the hotel. The West Wing King room offers 350 sq-ft of contemporary living, with a pillow top king bed and a bathroom right out of the space age. Coming in at 446 sq-ft, the Tower Deluxe Rooms offer either one king or two queen pillow top mattresses. An oversized vanity creates ample space in the black and white marbled bathroom.
Next up for MGM’s accommodations are the hotels luxury Suites. Available in seven different varieties, including the Bungalow, Celebrity Spa, Hollywood, Marquee, Terrace, Glamour, and Premiere, these suites range from 675 to 1,500 sq-ft of comfort and class. Each suite contains its own quirk, such as the Celebrity Spa suite, which comes with an on-suite oversized whirlpool tub accented in Italian marble. No matter the tastes, the Suites are more then well-equipped in satiating the needs of the guest.
- With 4,996 modern and well-appointed rooms and suites provide accommodations for every need. This vibrant resort also features a state-of-the-art, nonsmoking conference center, a spacious casino floor, the Grand Spa, Cristophe Salon and an inviting 6.5-acre pool complex, plus Wet Republic Ultra Pool offering “daylife” where guests can enjoy a pool party atmosphere while listening to.
- We stayed at MGM Grand in a CSS last August. While I haven't stayed in a Caesar's Classic room, I highly recommend the CSS at MGM. The suite is HUGE and the bath is HUGE and has a jacuzzi. The suite also has a wet bar and mini refrigerator which is very nice for.

The Signature provides the unparalleled comfort and service levels of a sophisticated retreat, combined with easy access via a moving walkway to all the offerings at MGM Grand - casino floor, Grand Spa and Grand Salon, top restaurants with celebrity chefs, ultra-lounges, shops and entertainment. Dining options at the MGM Grand include award-winning restaurants such as classic steakhouse dishes at Tom Colicchio's Craftsteak. Pool areas of MGM Grand provide private cabanas and a lazy river. The Fremont Street Experience is 7.5 mi away. University of Nevada Las Vegas is 10 minutes’ drive away from MGM Grand.
Rounding off the high end accommodations at the hotel are two separate resorts – The Signature and Skyloft. The Signature, for lack of a better description, is more akin to a small to mid-size apartment. The suites at The Signature are available in 550, 950, 1500 sq-ft varieties and can include one to two luxury bedrooms. Decorated in a style that can only be described as lavished contemporary, these suites include plenty of dark wood accents, a spacious bathroom, and a mini on-suite kitchen.
The Skyloft at the MGM Grand is a AAA Four Diamond award winner, made evident by the architectural design of these 2-story lofts. On top of the typical elegant style that the hotel is famous for, the Skylofts also come with a 24-hour butler and concierge service that is sure to make anyone feel like a celebrity.
The MGM Grand is far more then just high end accommodations, though. A stay at this five-star resort will also put guests in line with some of the most succulent dishes to be found on the Strip. The Italian-themed Fiamma, Tom Colicchio’s Craftsteak, the fresh ocean life of Seablue, and the Asian-inspired Pearl are just the tip of the delicious iceberg. A full sized food court and the Studio Café ensure guests can grab a bite to eat at any time of day.
It should come as no surprise that the entertainment factor at the MGM is fairly high. Outside of a massive casino floor, the MGM Grand is also home to world renowned shows like David Copperfield and the acrobatic Cirque De Soleil KA. Hidden deep within this resort’s interior is an area known as the Studio Walk. Here, travelers can partake in the unique CSI Experience, where they’ll be pit in the shoes of a real Crime Scene Investigator, or visit CBS Television City, which allows them to be on a research panel for new television shows.
When the destination city is Las Vegas, then there should be no question that the destination hotel be the extravagant.
